Bonfire Nights and Firework Events West Midlands

As we make the most of the last rays of the Summer Sun, thoughts turn to the long cosy nights coming soon, getting the curtains drawn early and snuggling up in front of the TV! As the next few weeks fly by, the kids are settled into new School years, sandals are discarded to the back of the shoe cupboard and the search for last year’s scarves, hats and gloves begins!

Before we know it we are getting into the festivities of Halloween and wondering when and where the best local bonfire and firework events are happening, that’s where we are here to help! To save you the hassle of scouring the internet and local magazines to fin out what’s on, we’ve done the hard work for you and come up with a comprehensive list of as many local bonfire and fire events West Midlands we could find, we’ve even organised them into areas so you can find the events nearest to you… All you need to do now is decide where you will go!

Sutton Coldfield

Sutton Coldfield RFC Bonfire & Fireworks

Sutton Coldfield Model Engineering Society

When: Saturday 10th November. Gates open at 6pm. Fireworks at 7:15pm

Bonfire Night at Hatchford Brook

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018. Gates Open 5:30pm. Bonfire 6:30pm. Fireworks 8pm

Edwardian FC Firework Display 2018

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018. Fire lit at 7pm. Fireworks at 7:30pm
Where: Old Edwardian FC (Rugby Club), Streetsbrook Rd, Solihull, B90 3PE
Entry: Adult £5. Under 12s Free.
There will be Fair Ground Attractions, BBQ’s, Outside Bars, Bonfire and Fireworks.

Wythall Bonfire and Fireworks 2018

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018. Gates open 6pm. Bonfire lit at 6.30pm. Firework displays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm
Where: Wythall Community Association, Wythall Park, Silver Street, B47 6LZ
Entry: Adults and children over 11 years £7.50. Under 11s FREE.
A very popular event! There is a bonfire and usually a funfair with food concessions and two firework displays. The first display is designed for younger visitors, the second is usually a bit noisier!

Bonfire & Fireworks Event at Peterbrook School B90 1HR

When: Friday 9th November 2018 6pm – 10pm

Kenilworth Castle Annual Bonfire and Fireworks Gala

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018. Gates open 5:30pm, last entry 6:45pm
Where: Kenilworth Castle CV8 1NG (see website for parking details)
Entry: Adults (14 and over) £10. Senior Citizens (65 and over) £5. Children (13 and under) £5. Tickets must be bought in advance.
The annual Bonfire Extravaganza at Kenilworth Castle is Kenilworth Round Table’s main public event of the year. This event has grown over many years to its current position as the premier firework display in the region, attracting people to Kenilworth from all over Warwickshire and beyond.

Umberslade Farm Bonfire Celebration

When: Saturday 27th October 2018. Gates Open at 4.30pm. Bonfire lit at 6.00pm. Fireworks 7.30pm

Haunted Halloween and Guy Fawkes Family Event

Where: Hogarths Hotel Ltd, Four Ashes Road, Dorridge, Solihull B93 8QE
When: Sunday 4th November 2018. 3pm – 8pm. Fireworks at 6.30pm
Entry: Adult £5. Child £3. Under 2’s Free. Cash only on the door (Card machines available inside the hotel)
Children entertainment, DJ, Story telling, Best fancy dress, Pumpkin carving, Bonfire, Best guy Fawkes, Fireworks.

Solihull Round Table Fireworks

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018. Gates open at 4.30pm. Bonfire at 6.30pm. Fireworks at 7:30pm.
Where: Tudor Grange Park, Solihull, B91 3DN
Entry: Tickets bought in advance are £3.50 (arrive before 6pm) or £4.50 (arrive after 6pm). Under 3’s Free.
Held in Tudor Grange Park, the event has been running for over 40 years. This year’s fireworks will be choreographed to the biggest movie soundtracks you can think of; from Jurassic park to Star Wars, there is something for everyone. With a funfair, bars, a great variety of food stalls and a bonfire!

1st Solihull Scout Group Bonfire and Fireworks

When: Monday 5th November 2018. Gates open at 6.00pm.
Where: Mill Pool on Lode Lane
Entry: Adult £4. Child £2. No sparklers or pets allowed.
There will be a barbecue, hot and cold drinks, candy floss, sweets and light sticks for sale. It’s always a popular event and will be great fun for the family. See you there!

Kings Heath & Moseley

Moseley Bonfire and Fireworks

When: Saturday 10th November 2018. Gates open at 5pm. Bonfire at 6.15pm. Firework Display at 7.15pm
Where: Moseley C of E Primary School, 59 Oxford Road B13 9ES
Entry: Adults £8. Children £4. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
This is no ordinary school bonfire, with a spectacular firework display by a professional team and an enormous bonfire, plus tasty food and drink available all evening. In an effort to reduce the use of single use plastic Moseley Bonfire and Fireworks are working with local company ENVIRO-Cup. For just £5 you will be able to purchase one of their stainless steel pint cups and receive a discount on any drink served in one all night. Proceeds will go towards the school PTA.

Moseley and Kings Heath Round Table Charity Fireworks

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018. Gates open at 5pm. Fireworks at 7pm.
Where: West Midlands Transport Club, Wheelers Lane, Kings Heath, B13 0ST
Entry:Adult £5. Children £3
All proceeds to local charities and worthy causes. Everyone welcome just turn up and pay on the gate. Food, bar, fair and fireworks!

Kings Heath Cricket & Sports Club Fireworks Extravaganza

When: Sunday 4th November 2018. Gtates open at 4:30pm. Firework display at 7pm
Where: 247 Alcester Road South, Kings Heath, B14 6DT
Entry: Adults £5. Children under 16 £3.
Kings Heath Cricket & Sports Club Fireworks Extravaganza will have a fun fair, DJ and music, Beer Tent, Food Stalls and Fireworks. Lots to enjoy for everyone. Pay on the gate – there are no advance tickets


Kings Head Bonfire Night 2018

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018 6pm
Where: Hagley Road, Birmingham, West Midlands, B17 8BJ
Entry: FREE
An evening of fireworks, hot pork baps, FREE toffee apples, and hot and cold drinks served from our outside bar is a night you won’t want to miss

Harborne RFC Bonfire and Fireworks Night

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018 6pm
Where: Harborne Rugby Football Club, Westhill Close B29 6QQ
Entry: Adult £5. Children £3. Family £15 (2 adults, 3 children)
Harborne Rugby Football Club are hosting their annual Bonfire & Fireworks Party on Saturday 3rd November where there will be refreshments on the night for both adults and children.


Fireworks and Bonfire at Warley Baptist Church

When: Monday 5th November 2018. Gates open at 6.15pm. Firework display starts at 7pm
Where: Warley Baptist Church, Castle Road East, B68 9BJ
Entry: £3 each (plus booking fee). Under 3’s are free and do not need a ticket.
Professional fireworks, bonfire, sparklers and hot food and drink. Tickets need to prebooked and paid for in advance.


Botanical Gardens Fireworks

When: Monday 5th November
Where: Botanical Gardens, Westbourne Road, Edgbaston, B15 3TR
Entry: £8 (includes admission in the gardens earlier in the day)
Annual firework display will be held on the terrace.

Edgbaston Fireworks Spectacular

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018
Where: Edgbaston Stadium, Edgbaston Rd, Birmingham B5 7QU
Entry: Adults £10 Under 16’s £5. Family pass £25. Concessions £8. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
To go with the firework spectacular there will be a fairground in the car park, face painters in the Exhibition Hall as well as plenty of different food options available to purchase.


Tamworth Rugby Club Fireworks Night

When: Friday 2nd November 2018 from 17:30-21:30
Where: Wigginton Lodge, Solway Close, B79 8ED
Entry: Free (donations welcome)
An evening of fun and fireworks with food outlets on site and a bar selling an excellent selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.There will be fairground rides and amusements for the children.

Bonfire Night at Tamworth Castle

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018 Castle Grounds activities at 5.30pm. Fireworks at 7.00pm.

Entry: General Admission fees apply for entrance to the Castle.
This is a chance to visit Tamworth Castle after dark, before enjoying the ever popular breath-taking firework display in the Castle grounds.

Best of British Fireworks Spectacular at Drayton Manor

When: Friday 2nd November – Sunday 4th November 2018

Whether you want to celebrate the ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ or merely boogie on down to British classics from Queen, Oasis or The Beatles, there’s only ‘One Direction’ you should be heading this October Half Term. Head to Drayton Manor Park as they ‘Spice Up Your Life’ (and maybe even raise a glass of ‘Bucks Fizz’ in celebration)!

Tamworth Round Table Bonfire and Fireworks 2018

When: Monday 5th November 2018 at 18:00 Gates open at 6pm. Bonfire 7pm. Fireworks 7.30pm.

Entry: £2 per person
BBQ and toys stalls will be back plus other fun and games on the night along with the giant bonfire and firework display.

Conkers Fireworks Show

When: Saturday 3rd November and Sunday 4th November 2018
Where: Conkers, Rawdon Road, Moira, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Derbyshire, DE12 6GA

A short drive from Tamworth, with street food stalls, cafes and licensed bars. There will also be rides and amusements, and other family friendly activities.


The Annual Lichfield Rugby Club Firework Display

When: Friday 2nd November 2018 Gates Open at 6.30pm
Where: Cooke Fields, Tamworth Rd, Lichfield WS14 9JE

As always there will will be a fun fair, hot food and drinks and a licenced bar.

Lakeside Bonfire and Fireworks Display

When: Saturday 3rd November 2018 Gates open 5:30pm

Entry: Adults £7 Children £5 Under 2’s Free. Family ticket £20 Tickets must be bought in advance this year.
A fun-filled evening with bouncy castles, kids’ disco, food stalls, refreshments, a bonfire and a fantastic firework display.

Barnt Green

There is even more entertainment this year: we have food and drink stalls, more funfair inflatables, plus there will be glow sticks for sale and Tombola. Amazing sword and axe-wielding Anglo-Saxon re-enactment group ‘Age of Penda’ performing.

Redditch and Worcestershire

Ragley Hall Halloween Fireworks Festival

When: Saturday 27th October 2018. Gates open 4pm. Children’s fireworks 6.30pm. Musical laser display 7.30pm. Fancy dress competition 8pm. Main fireworks 8.30pm.
Where: Ragley Hall, Alcester B49 5NJ
Entry: Adults £22. Children £6
Ragley Hall will not be staging a separate event around Bonfire Night but it will be running a “night of action, lights and frights”. There will be music playing throughout this fright-tastic evening and many things to bewitch you such as a state of the art laser show, fun fair, a fang-tastic face painter and a fancy dress competition. There will also be a selection of food and drink available to buy on the night.

West Midlands Safari Park Weekend Firework Festival

When: Saturday 10th November and Sunday 11th November 2018 Gates and Rides Open 1pm. Last Entry 6pm. Bonfire 5.45pm. Fireworks 6.30pm.

Arrow Valley County Park Firework Spectacular 2018
