We had a problem with our guttering and got in touch with John on a Sunday afternoon and within 2 hours he came round to our house to have a look. He carried out the repairs straightaway and solved the problem. My wife and I are in our 70s and we felt very comfortable. I would like to say once again a big thank you John. Having been let down by another roofing firm from about 3 weeks ago, I called J5 Roofing at approx 2pm on Tuesday 4 February and asked them to come and quote to repair my roof, where the slate vent was broken and water leaking into the front bedroom of the property. John said he could be there by 3.15pm the same afternoon. I met him at my home and he surveyed inside then got ladders and looked on the roof. He took photos to show me what was damaged and then made the repair there and then, saving me having to take any more time off work. To stay I am impressed with the standard of his work, the cost and the fact he did the repair there and then doesn’t give J5 Roofing enough praise! I would highly recommend J5 for any further works I need and have already recommended them to a neighbour.

I have known John for about five years. My impression of John at first sight was that of a kind and thoughtful person. He does not like Senior Citizens to be taken advantage of by some unscrupulous tradesmen. John is highly skilful and does his work with professionalism. A unique memory of mine of the sort of kind-heartedness, which John has is in answering a call from to sort a problem, at the end of which he declined to be paid for his time. No tradesmen had ever done for me!

We had J5 Roofing completely replace our pitched garage roof and adjoining utility room flat roof (with a rubber roof). From the outset John was extremely professional, courteous and punctual. He kept us informed throughout the job and even took photos of the insulation that he had fitted before placing the decking boards on top. It took 5 days to complete the job and what a job they did. The standard and level of work is fantastic and the new roof looks great. I have no hesitation in recommended J5 Roofing to carry out roofing work on your house.

I had them out to do my guttering did a lovely job,left it clean and tidy sorting all my guttering problems out. I had a bad job done on my flat roof and john re did it and sorted out the problems there. I found them very trustworthy and polite and they took photos and showed what they were doing all the way through the job. They also did my fascias and soffits I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a first class job doing.
